Chris Lintott and Maggie Aderin-Pocock will talk at this year's Cheltenham Science Festival

There are just a few weeks to go before this year's Cheltenham Science Festival begins on 3 June and fans of The Sky at Night are in for a real treat with three of the show's presenters speaking at the event in the BBC Science Zone, a 100 seat venue at the heart of the festival site.

Stargazing LIVE

On 5 June, the University of Manchester’s Dr Tim O’Brien and Sky at Night presenter Chris Lintott will explore the stunning celestial sights visible from the UK. The pair will offer hints and tips for discovering new galaxies and Stargazing LIVE Series Producer, Paul King will give an insight into what goes on behind the scenes of the programme. The event kicks off at 3.45pm

The Sky at Night
Join the Sky at Night's Chris Lintott, Maggie Aderin-Pocock and Pete Lawrence on 7 June, 7.30pm to hear the presenting team talk about what to observe in the June night sky and what it’s really like to be involved with the BBC’s longest running astronomy series.

All sessions are free to attend and seats are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Visit the BBC Things To Do website for more information.
